Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

So what's new, a busy day! Didn't have three energy to blip list night so this is a day late.
Started the day by running R&L to Stockbridge to meet a friend then came back and made a big pot of Bolognaise for Sunday.
I had a podiatry appointment to check circulation etc as well as a scale and polish type visit. Not something I've ever done before. The circulation is fine and apparently, apart from the current issue my feet are in very good nick. So all those warnings about unsuitable shoes, in the past, were wrong - clearly. I've also booked a call with the person who I saw last week to try to sort out what she actually recommended to me! I thought I had taken good notes and was clear in my mind but the further down the rabbit hole I go the more confused I am.
We had a busy Thursday afternoon with the girls. Picked up Isobel at 3. 20 and accompanied her, and her purse, to the sweetie shop across from the school to buy some sweets to take to Brownie Camp this weekend. That was fun and she didn't go OTT at all . Picked up Eilidh from SU at 4. 15 and drove her to Meggetland for a football tournament. They were both in good form. Colin took Isobel home and dropped me off at home next. I thought I'd have 40 winks before he got back and I cooked dinner. I was barely in the door before realising I had a meeting with the other interviewers at 7.
Quick change of plan, cooked dinner ate it and 10 minutes after Colin got back I was out of the door.
I think we've got everything planned for interview day now though.
Today's sky blip was on my way home from dropping the third interviewer at 9. 30. The sky looking over to Fife. The colours, just 10 minutes earlier, were much more subtle but I couldn't find anywhere to stop and take a picture.
I caught up with the others when I got home then went for an early night!
Thank you to everyone for bearing with me, I'm managing to read most blips at the moment but not much time to comment. It's nice to have even that brief update on everyone though, so thanks for dropping by.
