Friends

Rufus and I had a sleep over at John and Janice's home in Fevzipasa, and I took today's photo from my bedroom balcony this morning at the start of another enjoyable day.

Late morning Gaby took us back home to Akbuk and then John, Janice and I (with the woofer of course) strolled along the seafront to have brunch at a new place called O'laa where Lucy and I recently had a coffee when out and about.  Having eaten, J&J went grocery shopping and Rufus and I went home for a very quiet and enjoyable afternoon of Netflix (Clint Eastwood : Highplains Drifter to be precise). 

Lucy (neighbour) called round 6pm and we were still chatting an hour later when Gaby rang to say she and John R, who she'd just collected from Bodrum airport, were on their way to me so the three of us (+ Rufus!!) could have dinner on the seafront.  John R is, like Gaby, a friend and excolleague from Istanbul, but I haven't seen him since he left Turkey in 2012 so it was absolutely grand to see him again tonight.   Noticeable drop in temperature so although we went to Pasa, we sat inside to eat - too cold by the sea front. 

I love this life.
