On This Day

Looking in

I've been watching a pair of bluetits for a couple of hours now. They've been investigating the nesting box in the garden and it would be lovely if they'd move in. They're definitely very interested. Though it seems a bit late to me.

It's been a birdy morning with a whitethroat, a sedge warbler and a buzzard on our walk. Lots of other birds too of course. I was a wee bit disappointed that my photographs of the warblers and the buzzard weren't up to much. Bluetits to the rescue, at least as far as blip is concerned.

At 2pm I've got a trustee meeting which could be useful and interesting. Possibly.

Wishing you a good weekend. The weather here is still wonderful but we are getting water shortage warnings. The ground is so dry and dusty. As things stand it's another week before there's any rain in the forecast. We will be out and about making the most of it I hope.
