The Kent

Do you remember when going to the hygienist was like a little treat for yourself? When did it become such an ordeal?

Anyway, I went this morning, taking this photo down the Kent on my way, looking towards the white elephant that is the former K Shows Village. 

Hannah worked from the Kendal office with us, this morning, and then I dropped her at Oxenholme and popped home to see Dan for a while, before going back to work. 

After work, the Minx and I loaded up the car with the rest of the items we'll need for the conference on Thursday, and drove down to Salford, taking the relatively quiet traffic conditions on Chapel Street as an opportunity to drop everything at the office. 

And while I was moving it all in - one of us needed to stay with the car - the Minx found somewhere for us to have dinner: Domus in Chorlton. It was terrific, not just the food, but also their charming staff, and sitting out on their little deck in front of the restaurant in the evening sun.
