Burnsbeck Moss

Today was the final training run for Hannah before next week's race. After an initial two mile jog she had to do five fast-paced runs of a kilometre each, separated by ninety seconds of walking, and then a final jog to finish.

So, that reliable enabler, the Minx, dropped us off a few miles up the Old Scotch Road.

Early on in the run, we past this new walkway, and a sign explaining that Burnsbeck Moss Nature Reserve was closed for renovations. Indeed, the wreckage of a previous wooden raised path was piled up to one side. I must say, I've never noticed it before.

Anyway, Hannah did very well, and she's all set for next week, I reckon.

The Minx persevered with Argos's online system, which said we could pick up our favoured barbecue after four o'clock, which we successfully did, thereby facilitating an excellent evening meal out on the deck, enjoyed by the Minx, Hannah, Dan, and me!
