Successful day
Yesterday evening spent trying to amend supermarket order, but their computer was not playing ball. So this morning I received quite a lot of milk I didn't need, and missed out on items I did need! Never mind. Put everything away and had to miss community choir as I had a prebooked appointment in the next village with the lovely GP I saw 2 weeks ago.Thorough examination of my knees, and arrangements made for x-rays. One or two things she wasn't happy with, so I have to go back up there next week to have a battery of blood tests. I went back down to the main road only to find that it was a 55 minute wait for a bus. My daughter who lives in the village was away in York. My grandson was at home but I didn't want to mess up his day off, so decided to walk down to the garden centre for a coffee, forgetting that it is all slightly downhill which my knees object to! A friend stopped to offer me a lift, but I was nearly there by then. Coffee and purchases made I went out to catch the next bus just as another friend came past - so she stopped and gave me a lift home. All worked out well in the end! Main photo is the blossom on one of the beautiful Hawthorns on the roadside. In extras I liked the textures of the dead wood branches. The other is an old well which I have photographed several times before, but someone seems to place different plants in there through the seasons.
