A Day at the Seaside
Today was mostly dull and windy again. We went to Southwold and performed a regular routine: a walk along the prom, coffee on the pier, a walk into town and a wander round the shops. We then had a leisurely lunch in Adnams cafe. On our way back, we called into a reserve called Hen Reedbeds to see if there was anything around. There was a pair of Marsh Harriers, and we were joined on the viewing platform by a confiding Dunnock. We also heard, didn’t see a Bittern and a Green Woodpecker.
