Leaving At Speed

This one birdbox is definitely occupied and I am assuming there are youngsters judging by the food being carried in by both adults.
There are an awful lot of starlings, crows and magpies nesting in all the house roofs round about and I have seen the magpies taking fledglings if they stick their heads out for a look so it is not surprising that the adults leave at full speed without stopping for a look.
How I got any pictures I do not know.

We went over to Bags' after breakfast to put some washing in her machine and her older cat was actually willing to pose for pictures (there was no sign of his little sister).
Later on we walked over to collect the washing  .... well, it was a lovely day.

I started taking down the Rowan tree which has got to the point of blocking one window in the livingroom and in danger of doing the same to one of the bedroom windows upstairs. It is self seeded  and is virtually double trunked with one of them being formed by 3 smaller trunks which are snaking round each other. The growth is also forcing a Whitebeam (also self seeded) to lean at quite an angle.
By the time I was finished (read 'Totally Knackered') one of the trunks was gone and some of the snaking trunk was also missing. The majority of it has been shredded and the rest cut to manageable lengths before heading to the dump on Sunday.

When we were tidying up our Palestinian neighbour arrived home so he could take his Hungarian wife to the hospital for a check up .... apparently she is expecting her 2nd child. He also told us that he had been told that there may be a couple of kitchen cabinets going begging. Certainly!
A short time later our Polish neighbour dropped by. He is getting the other wall cabinets. He may also be buying one of the 2 generators I do not need.
