Ardtoe

I was completely wrong about breakfast. It was on time and expertly cooked/fried by the owner who does everything. He doesn’t cut grass though and currently his gardener is too busy concentrating on his National 5s which is partly why the place looked so disheveled. There were other factors.
I drove home the long way round instead of taking the Corran ferry. Ardtoe beach and Castle Tioram, extra, were as quiet as I’ve ever seen them. That all changed after Lochailort, it was far too busy to stop at Glenfinnan which had been my intention. I made use of the almost empty car park at Ellis Brigham, bought a pair of Darn Tough trail socks and a coffee and empire biscuit in Fort William.
Home by six, just in time to do an admin thing and get it in the post for an early pickup tomorrow.
Such a great week.
