Cool For Cats

Another glorious day today. Ideal for a day in Totnes - for a haircut and the atmosphere. Always good on Fridays. This was the scene opposite the market. The girl had an unusual voice and put a lot into the performance. I left ‘the cat in the hat’ in the photograph for added interest.  I felt part of the scene when I saw a friend doing tarot readings on the pavement and she beckoned me over to sit with her, and we had a  poetry and tarot conversation. She has over 45 years experience reading tarot cards. Not only that but she is a top poet  round here, a grand bard of Totnes, and a former Bard of Glastonbury. I was so in the moment I was thinking of giving it a go when she got a customer. There is no finer place to be on a day like today when you have all the time in the world.
