You little beauty

A couple of hours on the plot early morning. It was quite chilly, not really shorts weather. I emptied the contents of the water butt catching the water off the plot shed. The tap is broken & I hope to find a replacement. Watered the plant sale plants, and all the beds with plants or sown seed. Tidied up the perennial kale, gave that a good soak plus the young fruit trees. Walked up to town, more empty shelves in the Coop. Gosh! They've lost a lot of business, Spar's offer is'nt great. Lidl's at BT will have picked up trade if locals can get there. Folks relying on the Coop for their shop will struggle.
Kevin was cutting the hedge at Mum's when I arrived this morning. He does a good job. The usual routine followed...
I made mum's lunch, popped it in the oven then left for Lidl's at BT, picked up a few bits, then nipped out to G&J's with their 2 patio parasols. George was well impressed, Jean happy that she had smart new umbrellas that the neighbours could'nt remark on... :-) I had to look at the new curtains now they were hung. Very smart. Jean gave me more money than she needed. I gave them a tiramisu & strawberry trifle for after their lunch.
Back to Mum's finished making her lunch. Fed Indie, washed up. Mum enjoyed her tiramisu.
Home, lunch, then scrubbed the patio slabs.
