Golden torch cactus

A hummingbird was yesterday’s back blip.

I was surprised by a torch cactus that had bloomed in the morning. It’s the first time in a year or two that this cactus has produced any flowers. It doesn’t get many buds so this might be it. I put an extra of snowbird neighbor’s torch. It’s a different species than mine, so the flowers are different.

I’m still having trouble with nausea after eating but I have medicine for that which helps. Last night it came with a bad headache. I felt better this morning after I ate breakfast but lunch isn’t sitting well. I got a call from the physical therapy place to schedule an appointment for my back. Unfortunately, the earliest I can get is July 3. That’s a bummer. It looks like another day of rest for both my stomach and my back. I’m not fond of watching television, especially in the afternoon, but I may watch some Midsomer Murders and/or take a nap. Maybe both at the same time!
