Tom a' Chòinich & Toll Creagach

These are the easiest Glen Affric Munros, and buoyed by good news from my consultant, I decided to tackle them. It was the perfect day for it, yet these Munros are so remote that I only saw one other person in the 8 hours I spent there.
I am not going to lie, I found the steep section pretty hard - either my fitness level has dropped or I am still not up to normal, or whatever...Still. I made it and the views were amazing - my photo really doesn't do it justice.
The descent was trackless, mossy and very irregular - ankle twisting terrain - so I was  very careful - aware that there was nobody to help, and there was no signal either.
On the way back I stopped at Loch Beinn a'Mheadhoin for a refreshing swim.
