Rock Rose
They are loving the warm sunny weather.
A very dwarf helianthemum that came from the Norwich garden as a tiny seedling. The parent plant was the yellow flowered Helianthemum alpestre but this must be a garden hybrid as it's a creamy white and has a more sprawling habit. Tough, hardy and colourful, just what I need here.
A great turn working on the railway as a guard. I really should have staged a blipmeet photo as J (Lovetrees) was my assistant today .... she did such a great job that I was little more than a passenger most of the time. We had a trainee with us who proved his worth by doing a great job of the cleaning this morning and was good company throughout.
This evening I was invited to join J and the other occupants of the railway's summer 'luxury' volunteer accommodation for a meal at a local eatery. Most of us partook of Tapas which was very appropriate as one of us was F, a volunteer visiting from Spain. Delicious and the three hours we were there seemed to pass very quickly. Great fun!
