2 Boys at the River

Son Jeff called me this afternoon to say that he and grandson Beckett were going down to the river, and did I want to go. I did.

What are they looking for? 3 things...in this order. Turtles, ducks, and fish.

We saw lots of turtles and big fish, but no ducks.

I think it's great that the little man has discovered the river. When I first started on Blip, I got a lot of my posts from there, and it really is a nice place.

Why didn't Grandma Lisa join us at the river? She was with my dad at the hospital, where he was getting a pacemaker installed. It was a long day for both of them (about 11 hours total) and Dad is doing really well, although they did keep him for the night.

Beckett is so enthralled with turtles now, that he wants Pop-pop (me) to paint a turtle on a rock for him.
