Made in Prison

Today, the third Saturday in the month, we had the farmers market in the village square. The stalls were numerous, varied and vibrant, with sunshine and summer in the air and visitors galore.

My main shows a stall selling oak carved goods - especially beautiful kitchen choppping boards for example -  which was doing a terrific trade. Roughstuff Oak helps prisoners and ex-offenders get back on their feet, provides training, mentoring and business advice. The man on the stall was an inspiration.

- Spiced Hampshire Rum and craft gins, all Inspired by Nature of course, must have sold out by lunch time!

- Bright hot produce from the Isle of Wight, the best for spicy dishes.

It's been a gorgeous day. Sundowners and dinner al fresco beckons.
