Ready for Take Off

I took this photo in the garden of the blue tit parent delivering breakfast. It was just about to launch itself for the final 2m to the bird box. Another grey and cold day. The chicks in the camera nest box are getting very vocal now, they weren't happy just now when the parent arrived with no food! I walked into town first thing for a few bits and bobs, it was very quiet in there. Back home I did the ironing whilst catching up on a few programmes. After lunch I assembled my new Gtech AirRAM 3 cordless vacuum and gave it a try around the bungalow - I was pleased with the new edge cleaning brushes, they worked well and several other good new features. Then I watered the beds out the back. Still no rain yet this month, I think we've only had about a quarter of our normal rainfall in the last 2.5 months.
