Seeing double

We said farewell to lovely Appledore and headed in a south-westerly direction to our next campsite in the Treamble (pronounced tree-amble) Valley near Perranporth. Unfortunately, our journey was slower and longer than we had planned because the A39 was closed so we had to travel more inland. We decided to stop off at Newquay on the way. The beach there was beautiful golden sand and I thought that the house on the cliff-top on its own large sea stack that could only be reached by a bridge was great. (Extra)
While walking around Newquay, Bertie came face-to-face with the lovely Luna, a smaller female version of himself. She was on heat so we had to keep close control of them both. We strolled around the harbour (second extra) before setting off for our campsite for the next four nights.
It was a beautiful campsite but sadly had no mobile signal nor wifi so this is where my connection with Blip came undone!
