An encouraging start

Can't ask for much better weather for photographing, "Birds and men counting birds."

In fact, it was an awesome day. I learnt a lot and despite feeling the usual bit under pressure to deliver some good photos, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Fantastic immersion in nature with some truly lovely people. 

The 5.45am start was well worth it!
