Soganlidere

Travelled from Istanbul down to Gelibolu/Galipolli for lunch then along the  Dardanelles coastline towards the battlefields on Cape Helles. I stopped at the Soganlidere Turkish military cemetery with its beautifully kept rose beds surrounded by pine trees where nightingales were singing. Thousands of Turkish soldiers are buried here, mostly unknown.
