Now, as I see it......

Blickling Hall

We had a drive over to Blickling Hall this morning largely because we wanted to visit the second hand bookshop.  Blickling has the largest second hand bookshop of all the National Trust properties and W was fairly sure that last time we were in she had spotted a particular book that she now wanted.  It's to do with a subject she is studying so we were pretty sure it would still be there and sure enough, it was.  It was interesting that although dating from 1936 this particular copy had clearly never been used; the dust jacket was still intact and the pages hadn't been cut properly at the edges so she had to go through it with a letter opener to open them all up!  Clearly, no-one had ever tried to open the book before.

As we were walking back to the car I noticed this wisteria; just starting to go over but still looking rather magnificent.
