Go to Work on an Egg
My stomach has only just settled. It's been a longer flare-up than usual. I wanted protein but was aware that a runny egg might be pushing it.
Anyway, today was to be the day to plant up the tomatoes into their final pots/ grow bags.
As simple as that might seem, it meant I had various tasks to do first. Get plants outside, protecting them from the harsh sun and slugs, and take out the extra benches that house all the baby seeds. Gather the crushed eggshells for calcium and the asprin to stop blossom end rot, mix the growing compost with dome manure, and some mushroom compost.
Six hours non stop. My ankles were sore from all the bending, my back needed a soak in a hot bath, my skin needed a good scrub.
