Alliums

Back to work, and a full week of work at that. It was musty/haar and quite cool. I was kind of dressed for summer. There were a few of us in the office, and I spent quite. While catching up. Last week we were told that there was an expectation that staff will be in the office 40% of the time from later in the year.

We were sent home over five years ago, to work from home, and the sky hasn’t fallen in. While I already go in most of the time, this new pronouncement will not really impact me, there are lots of people who are outraged. The chat in the office on this subject continued.

I managed a quick walk to M&S at lunchtime. I went in search of trousers and came back with shorts. They will be going back!!

One of my colleagues had an incredibly stressful day following the cyber attack on Edinburgh schools. I things were in a better place by the time she left work.

When I k look eft tonight, the top of Arthur’s Seat had disappeared in the mist/haar again. The air was really cool.

After tea, I popped out for some steps, then returned home to begin a new book. It’s a crime novel, which I don’t often read. So far so good!

The alliums are blooming in St Andrew Andrew’s Square.
