CLOCKWATCHING

After lovely catch-up calls with both daughters last night and this morning, I went for a walk around one of the local villages this afternoon. The verges and hedgerows were frothing with such prolific may blossom, cow parsley and these dandelion clocks and it was even better when the sun eventually came through the cloud and pushed the temperature up somewhere into the low teens! There were a few intrepid butterflies about but I think most of them must have been taking shelter.
