Walking, geocaching and hospital visiting.

Spoke to Terry on the phone last evening and he sounded more like his old self. I rang him this morning and he sounded bright although hungry as he was fasting for the MRCP.
I was up early and so I decided to do the geocache maintenance trip to Sherdley Park, St Helens where 4 of my geocaches needed attention / replacing. I drove there and as it was before 10am it hadn't got too warm. The first one I checked had the lidless container still there but without any contents. I removed it and popped a new cache in. The next was missing altogether so in went another new one. The third was also missing so I put a new one there but in a slightly different spot but at the same large log. The last one I checked was still there but it had become buried under a lot of dead, dried out moss and a few leaves - the container was fine so I just swapped the old log and bag for new ones.
Main photo is in the park.
Headed back to the car and then home.
I didn't bother phoning Terry again as I was visiting him this afternoon and got there a little alter than I expected due to the stupid bus being late again! Before I set off the bus was due at 13:23 which changed to 13:27, 13:29 then 13:32. If you are going to work or an appointment you need to go for a much earlier bus than you think! The bus home - guess what - yes, late.
Terry was bright and feeling that he was improving. He said he was ages having the MRCP. He is now back on normal diet - well, what he can tolerate. I nipped down to Costa coffee while there and he had a caramel latte. One of the serving staff was nearly coughing his guts up and he looked unwell so I was glad he didn't do our coffees! Terry did nod off again while I was there - I must be boring! It's the nature of illness, lack of sleep at night and lying in bed although he slept a lot better last night. Around 10pm till 4am - he thinks he might have slept longer but he was woken to have his obs done.
Extra - a view from his room window where I stood for a moment to get a breeze. Not sure if the view goes across to the Wirral but it looks like that to me.
I'm going to give him a ring again now.
