A Day Worth Recording

Wisteria

Two years ago the wisteria that we'd written off but not bothered to dig up, unexpectedly flowered for the first time ever in our time here.  There followed much untangling of wisteria from, well, everything, and the building of an arbour for it to be guided up.

This year, that investment returned, in quantity!

This was great timing as we'd decided to open the garden for the NGS the day after the Spring Show - in case people were still around having travelled for the show.  We'd advertised at the stand yesterday.

We had a respectable turnout, especially given that thunderstorms were both forecast, and, at the end of the day, delivered.
