Obsolete Water Wheel, Chelfam.
The water wheel, no longer in use, was fed by a stream that runs into the river Yeo.
Another lovely day, and a trip with Sue and Linda to Chelfam, a hamlet on the old Lynton & Barnstaple railway line. It was an open day for a walk across the now defunct viaduct It is hoped that one day the old railway line can be reopened. So a lovely stroll in beautiful woodland surroundings. We then drove to Porlock, for a light lunch, onto Bossington, before heading back across Exmoor, seeing ponies on route.
A lovely day out :-)
