Climber
Went for a paddle first thing.
We then headed down to Balloch. We stumbled on the steam winch museum at the slipway, where as well as enjoying the Victorian engineering we could experiment with the effects of different block and tackle setups - easily lifting weights we couldn't lift by hand.
Then we cycled part of NC7 along the river Leven down to Dumbarton. We were hungry and there were few attractive lunch options in our searches, and the best looking one was closed (in spite of both its website and the sign in it's window saying it should be open). We ended up at Subway because CyclopsJnr was keen to try it.
We cycled back the same way, then once back at the campsite donned our wetsuits and headed for the loch for a swim and water fight. It was "epic" according to CyclopsJnr. Sadly no photos - we left the camera safely in the tent.
We had a nice shower to warm up after, then a couple of games of Yahtzee (we won one each) before dinner. CyclopsJnr played on a climbing frame while it cooked - pictured.
We had ice cream from the campsite shop for dessert.
A thoroughly lovely day.
