St Aidan’s Church and Lucker Hall Gardens
Our last day in Northumberland and it was a nice relaxing one. We went into Bamburgh for a little wander - a look around St Aidan’s Church, a check of the new walled garden, opened by Si King, of Hairy Biker Fame last month, and a final crab sandwich at The Copper Kettle.
Back at Lucker Hall, the gardens are starting to look lovely with some great colour on show.
Our last meal was another at the White Swan in Warenford - highly recommended and the best of the whole week. Tomorrow we cross the country to Braithwaite near Keswick for a couple of nights.
