Friars Crag, Derwentwater

The journey across the country to Keswick was quite pleasant and we decided to go to the Lodore Falls Hotel for lunch - yummy, but not quite as delicious as a crab sandwich ;)
Then it was a short visit to lakeside. The view from Friar’s Crag is just lovely and it’s Mum’s favourite place so it was great to find the one and only bench there completely empty. She and Dad used to visit there every time they came to the Lakes and it holds lots of memories for her.
I’m sure we’ll be there again before we leave.
