Derelict Sunday

I hoped that I'd be able to catch this demolition job in time of Marlieske's DS challenge, before this church is fully knocked down. It's the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Longbenton, here in Newcastle. It's been empty and vandalised for several years, so it really did need to be demolished. At least it's planned to build 36 social homes on the site so it will still be of value to local residents.
