Emerald

We had a visiting speaker at church this morning who also played guitar for the singing. His presentaton style is different, good and refreshing aso it made for an excellent service.
Mr Rat hurried home after as he had a message a new phone was to be delivered (he killed the old one yesterday when he dropped it and the screen went blank) but it arrived at the beginning of the period specified and he was a few minutes to  late. He did have some missed calls, possibly regarding this, but couldn't access the messages!
We weren't in very long before we had to leave for grandkid-minding duties while parents are at a concert in Edinburgh. After being shown "pet" Emerald we went for a walk to see the young cygnets on the golf course, 8 of them.
Played a few games of Bird Bingo after tea and they all went off to their beds with minimal procrastination. It's now nearly my bedtime but it'll be some time before we get home!
