One of two sets of bench ends, bought at auctions (separately) some time ago (both around thirty quid) is now in use... Got some lovely hardwood slats for this set; the other I' tidying up, rounding off edges, sanding down, staining and waterproofing, the tired old slats that came with the end, so that's a longer task.

Plan is to have three or four at various places around the field, so wanders can have some nice and comfy breaks if wanted.

(oh, and I've also got some table ends that I'm making a top for, that'll then have a metal covering put on, to be used for a small BBQ we have - that\'s more practical than the big kettle thing when it's just the two of us)
