5 + 5 = 10     Today is my milestone of 10 years on blip.  I have missed days.  I actually started in February 2015.  I wanted a hobby for my retirement.  Blip has certainly filled that role and given me so much more.  Thank you to the team who keep the site running and all of you who comment and share wisdom, life hacks, photography inspiration, book recomendations, movie reviews, political views, travel adventures, gardens, wildlife and so much more.  In these turbulent times I learn more from journals about how daily life really is for people than I find out from the news.  

On Some Days


On some days the light spreads across
the earth and you notice it's passing
The clouds roam across the sky and you 
can't help seeing
The wind moves over water and you 
can't look away from it's dance
On some days familar trees look like trees
you could never imagine
Beauty is everywhere you go 
and the world is in balance
