Sing

17yo and I popped down to Salts Mill to have a look a major new installation, Ann Hamilton’s ‘We Will Sing’, in the roof space. This is part of the Bradford 2025 City of Culture celebrations.

Using both visual media (main image), and sound (extra), Hamilton has produced a response to the setting and its history as a textile mill.  It is fabulous.

Also in Salt’s Mill, the permanent Hockney exhibition space has been refreshed, with twenty of his digital flower paintings and other pieces.

And we had cake.
