Painted
SATURDAY
Skipped Parkrun again – I know, I know.
Spent another few hours indoors giving the kitchen and utility room their final coat of “Slipper Satin.”
Due to the heat, the paint dried quickly, and I could put everything back in place: TV back on the wall, Dyson bracket, blind, and clock all reinstalled. Just a small length of skirting board left to paint next week, and then I can call the kitchen done.
Another hot, sunny day – the garden’s springing into life. A painted lady butterfly was drawn to the cotoneaster, which was also buzzing with dozens of bees.
