It is a mild sunny day here in Rishton Blackburn. 19c in the living room, 82f in the conservatory.
I have been very busy doing washing and drying.

Before lunch I walked to Ray's on the High Street and bought five black flowerpots. Then, back home, I carefully pricked out forget - me - not seedlings and hope they do well.

Paul did his puzzle page, read the newspaper and then after breakfast, mowed and strimmed the lawn. It looks and smells divine.

I am watching The Chelsea Flower Show on BBC1. It's amazing. I love watching it every year. Gardening design paradise!
An expert gardener explained how in a big flowerpot arrangement aim for "a thriller, filler and spiller! "
The thriller is a bright and bold impressive flowering plant. They used a geum called Totally Tangerine.
The filler is a beautiful space filling plant like a lavender or fern. The spiller is a trailing plant. They used Nepeta, or Cat Mint. Our cats roll in Cat Mint in an indescribable feline joy!!

I hope you are enjoying your Monday blip friends. Thank you for visiting my site today.
