Stonechat family

This morning I went down to the coast for the first time in a month.  All this lovely weather but things have been too often against me, making an all-day escape pretty well impossible.  Until today.

So here is the stonechat family I photographed.  The main is the female, and in extras I've combined a shot of the male and a young one.  It was a treat to see them all together and nearly made up for the annoying and very obvious fact I've missed most of the shore/sea bird breeding season.  Never mind, I'll try to go at least once more in the next couple of weeks to see if I can get more shots of some little ones.
