Number147

Monday

Tessa and I haven't seen eachother for weeks. So we walked across the fields to the Rowdey Cow this afternoon.

On the way there, and on the way back, we happened upon Cathy Pearce, a local artist.

She was a wild card on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the year recently. The setting was the Clifton Suspension Bridge. I tease her that she's a local celebrity now!

Clive and I love watching LAOY. He says I should apply but there's no way I practice enough. What if I were selected??!!

I was sad to hear, last week, that Paralympic Equestrian rider, Anne Dunham has died. It feels only recently that I was telling her all about volunteering at the hedgehog sanctuary.

I've known her the last couple of years and only since her death that I've realised quite what an Olympian she was!
