Number147

Tuesday

Hetty and I had a long walk this morning and the afternoon has been spent in the cutting.

I feel I have achieved having tackled the sedge and cut the grass in the orchard.

I'm now attempting to capture the iconic tree on Roundway Hill in embroidery thread. If it doesn't look as I hope, I'll unpick it and try something else.

Apparently, this is the last of the particularly good weather.

I'd welcome a day of rain (for the garden.) Then, as long as there are dry spells long enough for dog walks, I'll be happy enough.
