No swim - far too choppy

Tennis with the cool girls -Helen and I just about beat Cara and Bernadette. Lovely game.

Spent the afternoon with my mammy and we had great chats. At the Mayfair on Saturday, I bought her a cool safari hat; Laura Ashley scarf and handbag (bringing these colours together). In early June the Irish Army Band are giving a musical recital at the nursing home and it’s an elegant affair; so we need to prepare early. She and I share a love of clothes and accessories and just ‘cos you’re 101 it doesn’t mean you have to dumb down. No siree.

The sun finally shone here in Dublin. And I have to go out now and plant some Californian Poppies (story for another day).
