Musing of a Lady

Early Riser

Little Man woke up at dawn... so I got out of my bed to tell him it wasn't time to get up (that's when I took this photo). He managed to stay in bed until 6, when he wanted a cuddle.

We then got up and began our day. Little Man went to nursery and went in without any tears. It was a relief as there have been tears, almost every morning over the last two weeks, when I've dropped him off. He had a lovely time there.

I was able to get some shopping done, and really enjoyed the bike ride there and back. I then got a telephone call about how we're going to support Little Man's language development over the upcoming months. It did mean I had to send off a load of documents and the like, both before I collected Little Man and after we got home.

I also had a chat with his teachers after his morning with them. They have been incredibly supportive and really love the children in their care. We talked about the move, the support Little Man needs and the transition to primary school in September.

We came home and relaxed together. We did the laundry, which I hung up outside as the weather has been lovely! We've had a lovely day together, and a great start to the week.
