Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

One of my chores today was to spray the flowers we had an order for. They will be replanted and grow in planters on the city pedestrian street. So I made them lice free, or as lice free as I could, and was told that they're being picked up during the afternoon.
We had two rock blasting during the morning, and they will continue tomorrow too. But, I'm taking my sword with me anyway. I need to practice...I need to use my sword.. I want to practice... I really, really need it, and some rock blasting isn't going to stop me. If I miss the 'call' I just have to practice my reaction skills and swat away down falling glass with my sword. Jokes aside... that glass house is still standing, and it's meters away from the blasting site, and I'll get out of there when the call comes.
When I finished spraying the ordered plants, I moved on to other plants with lice. The blip is of some of them... I don't have to tell you how it grows... They're master climbers and I'll bet we'll have to untangle them from each other tomorrow too. These plants used some electrical cord for some device, to climb on and I had to untangle that before I could spray them.
I also had to take care of customers, and got a compliment from a woman that I had an artistic eye, when I just pointed out that three of the flowers she bought had matching colour combinations. Well, I said thank you to her. She's been in before and we'd already had a chat.
I also helped my boss out, twice. First time she came with a pair of work trousers that had a label caught in the zipper and the zipper wouldn't budge. She didn't come to me, really, I was just standing there, heard the problem and said 'Give me' and after some using of teeth and wiggling, I got the label free and the zipper could zip again. She got so happy she gave me a hug and said I'd saved the day. Happy to help. :)
Second time was also about trousers and I'm 'the one' who knows the clothe storage the best, so they come to me and so I helped out there too.

When I came home, after a short work out in the gym, I managed to finally replant my cucumber plants. I have 4 of one kind and 2 of another. I plan to challenge a friend of mine, who works from the greenhouse, to create one of these cucumber curtains which is really popular now. He's 'old school' so I'll find out how he feels about this challenge... :D They, the cucumbers, need to grow a bit more still before I can leave them to him.
My small tomatoes plants are so happy to get rid of the clingy cucumbers... :D I'm late, but that's ok. Autumns are getting warmer, and I'll start with my greenhouse on Friday when we have another day off.
