Flags Out in Ashby

It will be Arts Festival weekend in Ashby de la Zouch this weekend. Juliet, the podiatrist thought they'd been put out for yesterday's soap box derby but they're staying out for the festival.

Numerous art installations were in evidence: BBC News, Only Fools and Horses and even a statue of Paddington sitting on a bench in the pocket park at the top of the hill. I'd have liked to have photographed him but parking was virtually impossible and it was too far for me to walk.

You can see Len in his red jumper and Basil on his lead sitting outside Coffee # 1 where I joined them for coffee after my feet pampering.
