Florida Manatee (Sea Cow)

I was so lucky to see this wonderful Manatee today. He or she was enjoying the Mangrove leaves that grow in the river near our sea wall. I usually see manatees swimming just under the surface or only see their nose when the come up for air. This was quite amazing to be able to kneel down on our dock and get a number of photos. The sad part is, my mom is not having much luck. She had to be transported to the ER (again) from the Rehabilitation Facility she was in. She had arrived there from a hospital stay for a fractured femur 3 days prior. We were with her in the ER last night and today she was transferred to a room. Having Alzheimer's, she is confused about all the different places she's been moved to because of her health problems...We've been told Mom has a bit of pneumonia. She is receiving antibiotics. Her hemoglobin was low again and they have addressed that  We will talk to the Doctor tomorrow and hope for an improvement.
