Sisyrinchium "E K Balls"

One of the main jobs we do for Kat when up there are runs to the recycling centre.  She can't carry large items on a bike, we also take her shopping so she can stock again with more than her panniers will carry.

We made time around lunch time to visit the Secret Herb Garden cafe.  A bit of a misnomer as they no longer sell herbs.  Then on to Pentland Plants for somethings Kat needed.

The blip is of a flower Kat has and many years ago we grew.  S. "E K Balls" is a hybrid.  As the blip shows they have a lovely blue flower about 1cm (1/2") across.  They are semi evergreen, meaning it depends on the winter as to whether the leaves survive, they are however perennial.
