Frothing

Another hot and sunny day :-)

My brother and Mum had been to register Dad's death yesterday so I was able to complete the "Tell Us Once" form, which is so useful as it means you don't have to contact a whole lot of government and council bodies separately. That's one more thing ticked off the 'to do' list. It feels good to be useful even at a distance.

I picked a shady part of the garden border and got stuck into some weeding. One advantage of the dry weather is that weeds come out quite easily. 

After lunch, D had to collect some parcels from a shop and he dropped me off at Irongray Church so that I could walk home. The roadsides are looking so pretty just now, with all the frothy cow parsley.
