Hillwalking

The hill was Lotus Hill, near New Abbey. Jess and I left early while it was still cool. Usually very boggy, the walk was almost completely dry. The cotton grass on the summit was lovely, though. Up at the summit there is a grand 360 degree view. Jess and I shared some cashew nuts and then descended through the cool forest. We met not a single soul.
