Observations from Pilvilampi, the Cloud pond

The Pilvilampi recreational area in Vaasa covers an area of roughly 800 hectares. The environment consists mostly of boulders and rough terrain. The forest is, for the most part, old-growth with aged spruce copses. The area is ridden with marked bicykle and hiking paths. This is one of our favorite outdoor spots.
