One of the oldest

According to what I’ve read on the internet, this is one of the oldest churches in Middlesbrough. St Mary’s Church, West Acklam.

It probably was built around 1874, following a medieval chapel on the same site. 

It also happens to be at the end of the road where the hospital we visited today is. The Ramsay Health Care Tees Valley Hospital. Callum had an appointment for a consult about his poor arthritic knees and the surgeon agreed that a total knee replacement is the best option for him.

Just got to wait for an appointment but expecting it to be in the next 12 weeks or so. Right knee first and then all being well, the other will follow in due course.
